Billy Mingo
I’m Billy Mingo, a design engineer with a passion for combining creativity, technical skill, and problem-solving to develop innovative solutions. My work spans electronics, structural analysis, and aerodynamics, with experience in hands-on prototyping, CAD modelling, coding, and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, and Fusion 360. I enjoy bringing ideas from concept to reality — whether that’s soldering a circuit, testing a 3D-printed prototype, or analysing complex systems.
Alongside my engineering projects, I design and cast silver jewellery as a hobby, exploring form, texture, and process through lost wax and sand casting techniques. I’m motivated by curiosity and continuous learning, always looking for new ways design and engineering can shape better experiences and products.
